Was out with an old friend today. Took opportunity to photograph some parts of Seremban town.
One of the main busy street of Seremban. The furthest building on the right is our Federal Government Building. |
The back alley, away form the hustle & bustle of the busy street. |
A mamak stall |
A backyard view of the Wisma Punca Emas. Back in the 80's this is the most happening building in Seremban town. Today, it's an almost deserted shopping mall. |

We had witnessed the growth of seremban town to Seremban-2, shopping mall from only the old Store to Jusco, Giant, Tesco etc.

Ah Wah.
Hi Ah Wah... thanks for dropping by my blog. It's nice to hear that there are people enjoying my blog.
In fact you just gave me an idea of what to blog. I shall embark of series of 'heritage post' on sites that I remember most when I was young.
Thank you for sharing these pixs, esp the last one, the rear view of punca emas. Like I mentioned on one of your later blogs, the parking lot was the playground of SPI -Primary where I spent a lot of time during recess and assembly. I started Std 1 there when in 1967. The entire school was torn down and PE took its place.
Next to it was NS Club and NS Padang, where we had our PE classes (exercises). It has been a quite a few years since I last visited good old fooyong, I'm pretty sure those have also been demolished.
