Only in India

Below are some picture taken while I'm in India. Stuff you don't get to see everyday here in Malaysia.

Manual sugarcane juicer. Saw those clay cups? Those are disposable cups. So environment friendly compared to tons of foam cups we dispose everyday.

Indian Hercules.

Their light switches neatly arranged in a semi circular form.

Low-cost telescope. It is just basically a pair of binocular taped at the end of the aluminum tube. Photo taken at Darjeeling.

Trishaw? Rickshaw? Footshaw? Notice the man running without shoes on. Amazing.

Disposable plates made of leaves. Looks primitive but it is very environment friendly. And it doesn't leaks.

Masala cold drink. I ordered one and it was a wrong move. The drink is cold, sweet and spicy! Yuck!

We Malaysians call this the Mr. Bean truck.

One thing I admired the Indian are they are so good at maintenance. This restaurant in Kolkata existed about 200 years ago and business is still running like the old days. Look at those ceiling fan. They still work as if it is still new.

Lady grinding poppy seeds for a chicken dish. It taste very nice, and no, we didn't get high after that.

Old lifts. This one works better than the modern lift next to it.

Architect's nightmare.

Lady painting her clay house using mud/clay for the upcoming Diwali Festival. Photo taken in one of the village in Asansol.

Hardware shop. So small.

Wanna try a new dish at this hotel anyone?
