My Phuket Trip F.A.Q.

1) Did you enjoy the trip?
Not really. I was having a high expectation on this trip. Was hoping the water will be blue and clear. It turned out to be greenish and rather murky. We were not able to snorkel at all due to the monsoon rain & murky water. So am rather disappointed.

Sunset at Patong Beach

2) Really? The water is that murky?
Yeah, you would be better off in Redang than here. But the beaches are great and it has strong waves, you can rent a surf board & try to surf. Some of the islands has very clear water but still greenish in colour & no corals.
Some islands the water is clear but still greenish in colour.
3) Where did you stay during your trip?
First night - Patong Beach. Second & third night - Krabi Island. Fourth night - Back to Patong Beach again. Hotel review will come later.

4) What do you actually like about Phuket?

a) Nice beaches & island. Beautiful geography.
There was this place I can't remember the name where the sea is shallow enough that you can cross to the other island by foot. And because of that path, the waves beats the beaches on both sides. I felt like Moses parting the sea while crossing it.

b) Great food.
While in some places the food is expensive, the taste is wonderful! I ate & ate & ate & ate.

c) Very courteous & well mannered people.
Unlike here, Thai traders will never scold you if you do not buy their merchandise. Thais are mostly very polite. There was even one time a motorcyclist nodded at us while we cross the road as a greeting sign to us!

5) Did you try their Thai massage?
Yes, I did. Twice in full view of others so no 'special' services was offered. Hehehe.

6) Got a lot of Ang Moh (white foreingers) with bikini there?
Not many....but more Thai girls are wearing bikinis on the street. So much flesh ...so less cloth...but we had fun guessing whether they are females or shemales in bikinis.

7) How much you spend for the whole trip?
Free air tickets + RM200 (airport tax) + RM160 (accomodation) + RM340 (transport & food) + RM100 (shopping) = RM800.00

8) Would you like to go to Phuket again?
Nah...I'll go to Redang for snorkeling or Chiang Mai for food next year...if my budget allows :)

Shemales? What is that? LOL! I don't honestly know. I love your pictures. In fact, I'm filling out a classified ad with that picture of you in the water.. "Single Asian Male, loves beaches, long walks and sunsets. I like to eat and go on cool trips and take lots of cool photographs. I have cool blogger friends and you'd love to get to know me."

See? easy. I'm with sbanboy,, go KokHon Go Kok Hon!.. What a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing your trip with us homebound people.

Hahhaha...Thanks Annie for the free ads :p

For your info, shemale is the other word we call the transvestites here. Well, it's Manglish (Malaysian English)
