The main reason for my delayed purchase is that back then it was very hard to find a printer that comes with a Apple Mac OS driver. Those were pre-OSX days. Even if I could find one it would be very expensive.
Lately I find myself needing a printer more often and decided to just grab any printer that's available. I got this.
Canon Pixma MP145All in one printer scanner. Got it for RM245 which I think it is a deal. Saw the same one at the other pc shop and it was priced at RM269! Best price some more.
Had some bad experinces with printers with Apple Mac machines, I was ready to spend at least one hour to get this printer going. Took it out of the box, hooked it up, installed the driver CD-ROM, and I printed my first page in 10 mins! Wow, times has changed. The printer makers really made it simple for Mac users like me finally. No more scouting 3rd party Mac printer drivers anymore.
Prints very fast, and it does the scanning pretty fast too. It's a bit bulky though. It already occupy 20% of my bedroom working table. Hmm...maybe I should get another table....

I regretted getting a LExmark printer! The ink is so so so so...much more expensive den the printer itself!
I should consider one for myself too~~
