This will be my very first post. What is and why siewkaiyek? Siew Kai Yek in Cantonese means roasted chicken wings where siew-roast, kai-chicken and yek-wings. I love roasted wings and food and therefore this blog is started. It is to give you local malaysians what to eat here in Seremban and you foreigners what local delicacies we have here in Malaysia. Plus you'll get a glimpse of my perspective of living here.

This is my dad at his chicken rice stall. I might sound biased, but to find the best chicken rice in Seremban is here. In fact, his roasted chicken wings are the source of inspiration to this blog. If you don't believe me, try the chcken rice. It's only RM3.00 (USD 0.75) per plate. It's purely CHARCOAL ROASTED chicken. You can hardly find such roasted chicken using charcoal. Many just used electric oven just for convience sake. There are some even deep fried their chicken and called it roasted!

So what is the difference you may ask? Have you tried barbeque chicken wings? It totally its in the smell. It's just smells better. This is the stall at the restaurant called FS Oakland Restaurant. In Malaysia restaurants like these houses many stalls that sells different kinds of food. One can just walk in and order any food they like from the respective stalls.
