Enter www.mobik.com that promises to send sms to everyone for free. Similar to sms.ac, Mobik offer free sms without a limit to how many you can send in a day. I've personally tried it and it works.
So what is the catch? Well, the catch is Mobik will insert it's own text advertisement into your sms. That's how they gain their revenue. But that did not really bother me so far.
It is really useful if you need to mass sms to everybody to remind them of a upcoming meeting, cell group or a news flash and save up on your cost. I use it to remind everybody in my group of the upcoming cell meeting. You have to sign your name at the end of your msg though, else your recipients will not know who is the sender is. And you are limited to 120 characters per sms.
What you need? A browser with the latest flash plugin. The rest are self-explanatory on the website. It even comes with a address book where you can store all your contacts and an inbox for you to see your delivered sms. Oh yeah, you need to disable your pop-up-blocker for a while to send sms.
